Deldongo

Pianist, Multi-Instrumentalist, Arranger, Singer, Auteur-Composer, Deldongo Originally from Cahors France is considered today as a pioneer of French Salsa.

Deldongo writes and composes all his own lyrics and music. He also makes all the arrangements for his 12 piece band. Deldongo sings salsa in French but also in Spanish which helps make salsa more accessible to the French audiences and allows the French listener to understand what the singer is expressing.
Of course as salsa is a world wide phenomenon and appreciated by people of many languages, so Deldongo’s appeal is not only limited to France or French/Spanish speaking people. Deldongo is opening the frenchy-salsa doors to the listeners of the entire world and gaining a wider audience. Today he is getting play-listed in the USA, Colombia, Peru, Canada, England, Germany, Gauged, France, Italy etc

Deldongo is the first French artist to be invited to one of the most important salsa event in Colombia and South America; "the Feria of Cali". He has also sung in duet with "Cheo Feliciano" and with the Gran Combo of Puertorico Deldongo and accompanied on the piano and arranged for artists such as: C.Azuquita, Gypsy-King-Los Reyes, Raul Paz, etc.

This is Deldongo’s 2nd album on theClave and with experience Deldongo’s salsa has matured and improved giving it a greater depth of feeling. The album is predominantly salsa with a few cha cha and latin pop to make it appeal to a wider audience. On this new album there are a few re-arrangements from his previous album Super Star but also there are many new tracks such as "Pueblo Populaire", "Destination Amazone" and " Frenchy-Salsa".
